Hotel Christiana is a decent place with a restaurant and staff who are helpful, but I felt unsafe because the door that leads to the courtyard outside my room didn't lock, and when I brought my dog out you didn't need a key to enter the hotel rooms, which is risky. The carpet in the pet‑friendly room also carried a lingering dog‑urine smell.

The room was spacious and comfortable, yet it lacked sufficient light and I wished there had been at least one more trash can.

“Disappointed”

The Staff are very good and Kind, & they had their names Welcoming them as Guest on the TV, which was a nice touch. Location of the hotel is good, and the room size was good. Outside of the 4 things that were positive, everything else was a huge FAIL!!! $293 for a 1 night stay in a so called VIP SUPERIOR KING ROOM had holes in the ceiling a dirty vent blowing dust dirt out, a dirty bathroom with soap scum in the sink area as well, indeed unacceptable, and the bed was so uncomfortable. This was a special gift from me to my Uncle & Auntie to celebrate his retirement and new life of luxury and relaxation. This wasn't what they received and was a HUGE disappointment.They of course made the best of the evening and went out to Dinner, and thankfully the Christiana Mall was available. This was supposed to be the HILTON not Motel 6. Also, there wasn't any compensation for this EPIC FAIL. Room 440 Here are a few pictures that were taken
