The location was perfect—just a 2‑minute walk to the train station and right across the street from the castle. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The place is fantastic, just a two‑minute walk from the train station, with friendly staff, a wide menu, and overall good quality. Nothing to complain about.

The bedroom and beds were clean and comfortable. The carpet on the stairs leading to the rooms was disgustingly dirty and worn, which really shaped our first impression of the property. The stair skirting board also needed a good clean. The shower room lacked shelves and hooks for clothes, and the shower head had some black mould on it but was otherwise clean.

The inn is very nice, rooms are clean and tidy, and we could see the castle from our window. The atmosphere is lovely, and we’ll book again.

The spot was convenient for us, just a short stroll to the centre and castle, but we woke up around 5am from some noisy delivery or something and couldn't tell where it came from.
