The accommodation is the best choice anyone can make; it feels like staying with a family. They look after you as if you were a child from the moment you arrive until you leave. They are eager and knowledgeable to help with anything you need. They’ve created their own paradise on earth and give you the chance to become a member for little money. (They also have a farm where you learn and go through the whole rice‑production process—worth a visit!)

“A decent alternative to the Chai Lai Orchid if doing elephant activities in the area, but very basic”

The resort sits nicely near the Chai Lai Orchid elephant sanctuary and its activities, and the guest house offers air‑conditioned rooms with indoor bathrooms—something the Chai Lai Orchid hotel lacks—so overall it was “decent” and the value was great. However, there were a lot of bugs and spiders both outside and inside the rooms, and it seemed there was little or no staff on site most of the time; when checking in and out, local drivers had to find someone to help, and the only local bar was across the street.

“Con ganas de volver pero a quedarme más días …”

The reception was wonderful, the place itself amazing, and the service marvelous—definitely the highlight of my trip to Thailand; I’d return to the same spot and hope to get those massages again soon.
