Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. At the airport we got pulled into a presentation about what we found, it was supposed to be a 90‑minute talk but turned into 5 hours, and that was the only thing I didn’t like.

The facilities were great, the food was solid, and the idea of hopping between all the hotels in the carts added a fun vibe. But the sargassum made it impossible to enjoy the sea, so we had to settle for the pool, which shuts at 7 pm—I'd have liked more time there. Also, when we arrived in our car on the first day, my husband dropped us at the lobby to unload the luggage, and a porter scolded us for not parking and asking for a golf cart to bring our bags. That was a nice gesture but not typical for hotels, and we didn’t know about it. A heads‑up at the first kiosk would have avoided the reprimand.

The hotel is decent, overall product is fine, and the surroundings are pleasant. However, the price‑to‑quality ratio has dropped since the joint venture with Hyatt. Prices have risen without any noticeable improvement in the on‑site product or services.

The breakfast buffet lacked the variety we had seen in previous years, but the staff were incredibly kind, especially Rosa at the Coba buffet—her smile and attentiveness made us stay only at her restaurant. My husband chose Mexico to celebrate his 40th birthday, and we all gathered on the same dates for a big celebration. The reception team helped family members decorate the room and surprise my husband, with Irazu, Samantha, and Angel coordinating everything. The staff at Bahia also helped decorate the door and bring a gift. It was the best experience; I’m 100 % Bahia.
