Sofia and her husband gave me an exceptional stay! The bungalows were simple, cute, and on the first line of the sea. Quiet, pleasant, clean. Breakfast was wonderful!!! A little far from the centre, but that’s part of the charm.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent, served by a very friendly lady, but the cabin was tiny with very basic facilities, especially the bathroom that only had a bucket‑style shower and no sink for brushing teeth; we ran out of water in the morning, dealt with three cockroaches on the first day and left early, and despite explaining the situation and the ongoing lack of water, they refused to refund the last night.

Thanks to Sofi and Gun! Our stay felt so special and truly like home. The Lumbung are simple and cosy with natural surroundings, and it was easy to walk around the island and arrange a boat for snorkeling.

The warm welcome, genuine hospitality, excellent breakfasts, and well‑organized excursions and transport were the highlights, while the plastic waste on the island is a problem that a dedicated local association is tackling with great enthusiasm.
