The room had been freshly refurbished and everything felt brand new, but the TV was only a smart model without an antenna, and the lighting was too harsh because there was no abat‑jour. I had to walk three times around the block to unload my luggage from the ground‑floor street, which I mentioned to the host who was pleasantly attentive and promised to fix it soon.
