I booked this place mainly for work at Cheikh Anta Diop University, and its proximity was extremely helpful; a quiet spot to unwind after work was also appreciated. It seems the property often hosts business travelers in Dakar, and the owners want guests to feel at home while pursuing their plans.

The room was clean, the place is accessible and close to the city center, but the toilet was separate from the room and the noise from the doors opening and closing was annoying.

The bathroom is located in the hallway, which wasn't mentioned in the listing. The owners live on the ground floor; the lady was unfriendly and very intrusive. There was no blanket in the room, only a sheet, and when I asked for one I had to wait over an hour while she was cooking for her family. I had to come down twice to get two children’s blankets.
