We adored our room—it was spotless, well maintained, and comfy, with all the basics like towels, toiletries, blankets, Wi‑Fi, and TV. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel was easy to locate, with a great position close to many eateries. Parking spaces exist, though maneuvering a large car can be tricky. It would have been nice to have a hair dryer and daily towel changes, and we weren’t sure if there was a spot to hang wet clothes.

The whole hostel has a modern vibe that probably makes it one of the best-looking places around SJLU. The rooms are a bit small, there are limited outlets, and I was surprised that checkout is only 11‑11:30, which is disappointing. I also expected the two cute dogs to be there—HAHAHAH lol.

We had a fantastic stay at Shorebreak Hostel; everyone was accommodating, especially Romela, who never failed to keep me updated and stayed responsive all the way through our stay. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and safe. The restroom was sufficient for everyone, no waiting, with free body wash and shampoo; it was clean and gender‑separated. Staff were friendly, greeting you even outside the hostel. The location is at the center of everything—perfect. Parking is available behind the hostel with a pay‑parking option. Nothing negative.

I love the location and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating; we had a great weekend getaway.
