The motel is adjacent to cafes and eateries, close to rivers for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Falls Creek is a 1.5-hour drive away, and a lounge with flat-screen TV and DVD player is available.

The unit was roomy and well equipped, with a very comfy bed; the spot worked well for sightseeing and local meals, and there were two pubs for dinner, both also very good.
