The spa was nice. The room was very basic, like a 3‑star hotel, and we paid an exorbitant amount. The staff did not speak English and were not willing to help. We paid double for a suite, but it was so bad that we simply asked to move to a regular room, and nothing was refunded. We forgot our wallet there, and when we traveled to Budapest, we asked them to give it to our friends and they refused! Later they sent an email saying we had to pick up the wallet within two days or they would send it to the lost and found and charge us, which is absurd.
We stayed in a rural hospitality gem. The accommodation had a romantic vibe and was friendly. The staff were prepared and kind. The restaurant served magically delicious food.
A great place. From the moment we entered, we felt at peace. Our eyes filled with tears of happiness. We were asked about dinner at night, but we didn’t eat then. After resting, when we returned to the restaurant in the evening, it was closed and we were left hungry. Luckily we had some Hungarian biscuits with us and managed through the night. We also had half a liter of water, so we could keep our mouths moist. For those who like drinking from the tap, this probably isn’t an issue.

A very cozy location, with buildings that perfectly match the surrounding scenery. The “bathhouse” was comfortable and pleasant, the bistro offered tasty food at good value, and the electric car charging option was appreciated. The rooms, buildings, and overall complex have a unified, beautifully maintained style. Nearby, there are several sights, including the Ozorai Valley and the Dege Castle; the latter includes a discounted restaurant voucher for the hotel‑run restaurant, which is not far from the accommodation. The electric car charging point is in a rather inconvenient spot, so I would recommend moving it to a designated parking area. The charging cost is a bit steep, but it’s worth the convenience… aside from that, given the large amount of solar panels on the buildings, I could imagine a more favorable rate. In the bathroom, the toilet flush and the sink had unusually low water pressure.
The place, the buildings inside are wonderful, warm, homey, family‑friendly. The staff are very friendly and kind. The food is magnificent. A true island of tranquility. Thank you!
