Pros: The soundproofing is excellent—closing the balcony doors lets you almost ignore the noise from the restaurants below. The location is great and the balcony view is fantastic. Cons: The air conditioning is very weak and fails to cool the apartment; we reached out to the woman who handed us the keys and checked us in, but she never replied. A restaurant kitchen on the ground floor creates a strong food smell in the corridor. The bathroom has only one towel hook, insufficient for two people, and there are no blackout curtains, so morning sunlight pours straight into the room and wakes you up at sunrise.
