The room and bathroom were large, clean, and nice, with good beds that let me sleep very well. The reception staff were very friendly and arranged transport to the airport in the morning. I would definitely stay here again. It’s impossible to dislike this place.

They behaved terribly and kicked us out of the room because they got confused.

There was a free airport shuttle that worked well, but the reception was unfriendly, the room only had the bare essentials (a kettle would have been nice), the street-facing room was very noisy at night, and the balcony door was leaky (air would drift in).

The place was lovely, but the shower was so small I barely fit in it, and I’m tiny. The bed was unmade, the blankets were smaller than twin size even though I was sleeping in a queen, and there were no sheets on it at all. I was very disappointed that the bed wasn’t made and that the shower wasn’t clean.

It’s very close to the international airport, and the downtown area of Keflavik has expanded with many restaurants and venues. There’s a lovely walking path along the coast, and the free shuttle back to the airport is a nice perk.
