Facility is highly deceiving, and the owner is a rude, irresponsible person. Nothing is likable there. I am writing point-by-point issues at the Guest House 1. The owner is an EXTREMELY RUDE person. We, a family of 7, booked two rooms at the Sankardev Paying Guest House, Varanasi for one night. The rooms in the site and the actual room didnot match. He had the audacity to say that in 3400 rupees (per night) you wont get all the facility. He specifically told us not to turn on AC and enquired about the AC remote in the room. For god's sake, we never even touched any remote. 2. Towel issue: The owner refused to provide basic towels to the guet saying that so many towels cleaning, washing costs him money. Didnt he charge money for that? What a Greedy owner. 3. When requested even the most basic facility (request to change a bed sheet as the one provided was dirty), he got completely irritated and asked me not to irritate him. 4. Running water got over early morning and never got water to take bath. 5. He kept asking us to pay and vacate room as soon as it was 10 am. Absolutely rubbish personality. 6. The owner mentioned that the facility is mostly for foreigners, not Indian tourists. He would usually charge Ra.2500 per night! 7. Forget about flat screen TV (as advertised) you wont even get a decent ventilated room to sleep. All cramped money making ghettos where you wont get mobile network (hence you can not even call for help). The owner shared Wifi only after direct confronation which of couse, irritated him. 8. No help, no enquiry, no one to help you out. Even no lock was provided when we needed to go out. To any peace loving visitors, please dont stay in this guest house. It will drain all your energy until you check out. Accordingly, license of such deceiving facilities should be cancelled
