Comfortable accommodation with hosts who were accommodating and responded promptly. The town was remarkably pleasant and interesting, making a leisurely stroll around the harbor and nearby streets worthwhile. There’s a wide selection of excellent restaurants. The base of 'Who's Anton' turned out to be highly suitable, not only for lodging but also for its proximity to Amsterdam. A pleasant and enjoyable stay. Nothing to add.

Monnickendam is a pretty little town with great restaurants and a solid bus link to Amsterdam, plus a lovely riverside spot that lets you see the ships. The downside is the nearby parking is time‑restricted, so if you want to stay longer you have to walk about 15 minutes, and the bathroom is tiny and not heated.

The spot was great, just a short bus ride from Amsterdam, and the hosts were helpful and friendly. The room or apartment was cozy, spotless, and fully equipped, though the only snag was that the host was late to meet us, so we had to wait before we could get in.
