The staff were friendly and very helpful, both during breakfast and at the reception desk. The bathroom was small.

The staff were excellent, but the building clearly shows its age and the poor maintenance has brought it down from its former glory. The food was very good and varied.

The breakfasts were very generous, the location was close to the beach and near Lindos where we visited several times. However, the shower and sink drains in the bathroom were clogged, so after showering the water stayed in the tub and they couldn’t fix it even after we asked, only managed to lessen the problem.

“Amazing introduction to Greece.”

The hotel staff were amazing, especially the family that runs the cafeteria/restaurant breakfast; they were phenomenal and I hope they’re always blessed. Anthonis gave us a warm, open welcome, and the housekeeping staff were exceptionally helpful. It was my first time in Greece, and this place was a beautiful introduction, making my vacation on Rhodes and staying at the Bel Mare even more special. On the downside, even though Anthonis upgraded my room to one with a plunge pool, a foul odor leaked in whenever the sliding door opened, even slightly. The toilet seat was broken and taped up, but it didn’t scratch me, so I didn’t mention it. The shower was also very narrow.
