The lodge feels cozy with a beautiful garden, a good mattress and a perfectly hot shower; everything is well maintained, offering a peaceful retreat that I love. However, the room we booked was meant for three people but only had one fan, so the staff added another because the lodge wasn’t full. The power adapter we brought didn’t match Capão’s, a detail that matters for anyone traveling with three people, but everything worked out in the end.

“Boa relação custo/benefício”

The chalet is a three‑minute walk from the town centre and has solid facilities: air‑conditioning, shower, bed, and a fridge. The staircase to the upper‑floor room is steep and vertical, and there’s no breakfast included (I knew this when I booked), so I had to pay at the town centre for coffee. The on‑site parking is cramped; I parked outside but had no issues.

The location is excellent, but the toilet clogs easily.

The lodge sits right at the village entrance, a great spot. We arrived with a 5‑month‑old baby and asked for a crib, sending two messages to confirm the request. When I got there, the owner was a bit harsh, claiming I hadn’t asked for a crib or mentioned the baby, even though I had proof of my messages. Also, the room wasn’t cleaned on the second day of our three‑night stay, and given the nightly rate, I expected better service.

“Eu amo o pé no mato, já me hospedei algumas vezes”

The atmosphere is wonderful, garden with fruit trees, kitchen is great, pleasant environment, but the shared bathroom is cramped, there’s no space in the shower cubicle to store items.
