“Gorgeous lochside location, slightly disappointing restaurant.”
The lochside spot was gorgeous and the welcome was warm, but rooms that don't face the loch suffer from road noise, and the shower in the bathroom, though it looked new, only spat out a little water. We were mostly let down because the website promised a nice menu with salmon and smoked haddock, yet the actual selection was very limited.
The staff were great, but the shower had almost no pressure.

The staff were great, the location fantastic, and the restaurant dinner lovely. However, unlike most places I've stayed, I had to pick between a continental and a cooked breakfast, paying extra for cereal, fruit, or yoghurt if I wanted a fry‑up. The cooked breakfast was freshly made and tasty, but only included bacon, one sausage, beans and an egg—extras like black pudding or mushrooms would have cost more.
