It felt cozy, yet the front desk guy seemed to hate his job and didn't make me feel welcome, and there was no breakfast.

I loved the quietness of this location even being a local during Notre Dame Football games. The staff does not like to listen to the customer even when they are trying to calmly and nicely explainI understand they made a mistake, but can you fix it. I after arriving and checking in to my room, I went back down to the desk and informed them, “I am here for work and I will be staying an extra night than originally planned.” No problems, I was able to extend my stay, I thought everything was good. Until after my checkout, after reviewing my bank statements, both employees each charged my card for that extra night and incidentals, none of which I’ve been able to get back. Nor would they even hardly discuss it with you how could you get them to actually look and find their mistake. That is why my stay in what was otherwise a decent, very clean and quiet hotel DOES NOT get 5 ⭐️’s

I booked this room through a site and was charged; when I arrived they claimed the charge was only a “hold” but it had already been processed, and even after showing them, they still didn't care and forced me to pay again, so now I've been billed twice and still waiting for the charge to be removed.
