“Halte à CRAMANS pour 1 nuit”
The hosts and little Margaux were very friendly, offering advice on local sights and curiosities, and the breakfast was generous. For a single night it could work, but rustic doesn’t mean you can neglect cleanliness and safety. The property isn’t suitable for people with even mild disabilities; some stairs are narrow or uneven (wood or stone), and the handrail doesn’t cover the whole length. I don’t recommend it for a stay.
“Pour une soirée ça passe si on n est pas regardant”
The owner was friendly and hospitable, but everything was very dirty even though the price is very low – that's a minimum requirement!
“De grosses améliorations à apporter”
We slept well in the huge 2 m bed and the host was welcoming; sleeping in this room furnished with antique furniture could have been a unique, time‑frozen experience. However, the access to the room is via a rickety wooden staircase, and the room and bathroom are set up in a hodgepodge inside a run‑down barn – the biggest flaw is the lack of cleanliness!
The hosts were welcoming and convivial, and they shared a meal.
The house is very rustic, and Vincent is kind and gives good advice.
