The Hotel Monopol, located in Tenerife's Puerto de la Cruz, features a heated outdoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Built in the 19th century as a dance hall, it boasts original wooden balconies and a central courtyard with palm trees. The hotel is 5 minutes from the sea, near Playa Jardin Beach, and offers a restaurant, 2 bars, and a spacious lounge.

The location and the courtyard were good, and breakfast was fine. I was assigned a terrible room where the hot water didn't work, then they moved me to a suite.

The location, the welcome, the patio, the jacuzzi, the view, and breakfast were great, but there was nothing to complain about.

The location is excellent right in the city center, the typical building is very pretty, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms still look outdated even though they have a washbasin, the room was spacious but had little counter space, no air conditioning, and the towels were old.
