The location was fantastic, but it was like a ghost town.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we felt like we were staying with old friends.
The dinner and breakfast were top-notch, and the grounds were so cozy and inviting.
The romantic atmosphere is definitely there, but it's let down by some minor oversights.

“Home away from home with UPGRADES!”
It felt like our home away from home, with extra touches that made us feel welcomed and comfortable; we had the fireplace lit to warm the cottage after dinner, the breakfast was fresh and made on the spot and we were treated like royalty, and the dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and great value for money.

The spot is great, just 10km from Oudtshoorn on a farm, and the room and bathroom are huge with a patio perfect for a sundowner; breakfast and dinner were exceptional, and we had a fantastic 3‑night stay with staff who were super friendly and helpful, though the dinner was very pricey.
“It was the best place to take time out of our busy schedules and unwind. The personal care was exceptional”

The manager on duty, Michael, was a real gem and went out of his way to help me out.
We were blown away by the staff, the welcome coffee and cake, and it’s a shame we didn’t stay longer; I’d definitely return and recommend it to friends and family, though everything was a bit off.
