I was really looking forward to checking in, but when I got there, the office door was locked with a note telling me to call a number. No one answered, and I never got a call back. I ended up having to check into another hotel. To make matters worse, the hotel kept my $16 service fee for both nights I was supposed to stay, even though they weren't open.

We arrived at the hotel, but things quickly went downhill. The staff took ages to come down, and when they finally did, they told us they couldn't access the computer system, so we had to drive somewhere else to resolve the issue. It all seemed pretty shady, so we decided to leave and find somewhere else to stay.

“The motel was out of business. And my cc still got charged. Ugh”

The motel was clearly closed, with a sign saying it was out of business. But when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that they'd charged me anyway. They're now trying to tell me it's not their charge, but I'm disputing it with my credit card provider and will never use their service again.
