The peaceful surroundings, beautiful garden, and spacious room were great. The staircase to the upper floor was quite steep and slippery.

The room was spacious. The staff seemed surprised by our arrival, and the towels were not clean.

We were unlucky to rent this place during extreme heat followed by heavy rain and storm/typhoon winds (severe weather), which caused a large tree branch to fall on the roof and rain to leak into the bedrooms—nothing the host could fix. Aside from that, the property is in disrepair, which is disappointing. Hygiene is questionable—cleanliness? The bedroom carpet, clothes in the wrong closets, and the garden was totally neglected (not as beautiful as in the photos), though it may have once been lovely. I think Belgium should enforce stricter standards for B&Bs.
