Red Roof Inn Greenville

“Too many people were right outside our room, smoking marijuana as well”

The check‑in lady was very nice, yet bugs were on my bed, there were bed bugs in the bathroom, and pubic hair was found in the shower and on the wall behind the toilet when we arrived.

The bathroom lacked hand soap and towels.

“Thank you so much for a comfortable bed and a safe place to close our eyes for the night.”

I’ve stayed at Red Roof many times, and this location was the cleanest and most well‑maintained I’ve seen, with a room that was super clean and staff that were friendly. The only downside was the lack of breakfast – a small inconvenience.

“Nice place but not the Ritz type quality”

The housekeeping was consistently clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly, but every soap dispenser was empty. The paint looked like it had been sprayed, and the furniture was very minimal; my room only had a bed, a shelf that could hold a fridge, and a microwave.

“Fine for a night after a long day of driving, wouldn’t do anything more than that.”

The hotel sits in a good area and felt fairly safe, which is handy if you’re just passing through. However, the bathroom was disgusting—probably a housekeeping oversight—and the bed felt like sleeping on cement. It was okay for a single night after a long drive, but I wouldn’t stay multiple nights there.
