The room was spacious. I went to breakfast at 09:55 am, which ended at 10, and was turned away even though I was there before 10—a very early time to finish breakfast on a Sunday. The staff were rude about it.

The staff are friendly, but there’s no overnight reception service. If an emergency arises and you need to call, it can be tricky if you don’t speak the language.

I liked the breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. The overall facilities were decent, parking was good, and most staff were friendly and helpful. The location on a busy road was a surprise, the room was quite dark—maybe some trees need trimming—and the bathroom felt a bit worn; a shelf would have been useful. Most staff were pleasant, but we missed a smile from Amy.

The staff were great, but the road was very noisy; they did offer ear plugs as compensation.

The value for money was amazing. The room was beautiful and immaculate, the staff were lovely, and the breakfast was divine. I have no hesitation giving this an easy 10 out of 10 and I’ll definitely return.
