The host was accommodating, really helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, with a locker that had a lock. It’s a 10‑minute walk to the beach side. The bed was comfy and came with a towel. The Wi‑Fi coverage was low, and it was hard to get around on foot, but the host was willing to drive you around, which made up for it.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. He gave us a cheap ride around on a scooter. Since we were a group of four, we had a cabin with four beds and two bathrooms. Unfortunately, the bathrooms and rooms were only partially clean. In the bathrooms there was guano from geckos or mice, and one of the bathrooms had a very strong odor in the air.

A sweet hostel, nice hosts, generally clean. It’s cleaned daily in the basic areas. The location was great for me because I had a scooter. It’s not central on foot, but everything is reachable, including various restaurants. Unfortunately, the bed was too hard and damp, and I’d need to get used to cleaning it. There was only cold water, and there was only one mirror in front of the room that didn’t show well because it faced the light.

I was thrilled with my stay at Uma Hostel; everything was spotless and the facilities were perfect, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helped me with everything.
