The ACHAT Hotel Bochum Dortmund is located beside the MediTherme spa, near Ruhr Park shopping centre. Modern rooms with satellite TV and private bathrooms are offered, with paid parking and motorway access. Free Wi-Fi and a buffet breakfast are available, along with a bar. The hotel is under 20 minutes from Dortmund and Essen, with A40 and A43 motorways nearby.

The breakfast and location were both very good.

The room was quite spacious; the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was disappointing – showering in a bathtub with a shower curtain isn’t great, and the breakfast lacked variety, no scrambled eggs, the omelette wasn’t tasty, and the rolls were poor.

The staff were simply 10/10! And the breakfast. Everything else feels a bit dated and could use a renovation and better cleaning.

The breakfast was fantastic 😊 and the staff were very friendly, always refilling the buffet immediately when something ran out.😊👍🏽😁 The only downside was that if you arrive an hour earlier than 3 pm you won’t get your room yet, even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked.

The value for money was extraordinary – a solid standard business hotel.
