The hosts were very polite and attentive; the farm itself offers several seating spots to relax, everything in the apartment is clean and tidy, and the separate kitchen has everything you need, even a dishwasher. The surroundings are very quiet, and you can ride a bike for nice tours. A few fly‑screens would be recommended for the festivities.

We didn’t get the booked category with a private bathroom because the cleaner supposedly wasn’t there, so we had to use a bathroom in the hallway; luckily we only stayed two nights.

I found this place to be an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside on bike. The location is incredibly central, with easy access to the Harz, Ertsgebergte, and Thüringerwald regions, but it's the Altenburgerland that really stole the show. The area feels like a step back in time, with picturesque fruit trees, old houses dating back to the 13th century, and a charmingly rural atmosphere.
