Located in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, the adults-only Servatur Casablanca Suites & Spa offers a relaxing getaway. The complex features a year-round heated pool surrounded by loungers and hammocks. Guests can enjoy a spa centre, fitness suite, and rooftop chill-out area. Rooms have kitchenettes, free WiFi, and balconies or terraces with views of Puerto Rico and the sea. A buffet breakfast and evening meal are served at The Club restaurant and bar.

The location was ideal for exploring the island and there were plenty of dining options at night, but the parking was small and limited; we always rent a car and choose hotels with parking, yet we had to look along the street a few times, and the hotel itself felt a bit dated.

I couldn’t find anything to criticize about the hotel; the staff and facilities were perfect, but I didn’t like Puerto Rico; I usually stay in Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote, and Puerto Rico feels like it needs a lot of investment and has less alcohol.

Clean, access to the pool with terrace, air‑conditioning, a large shower/bathroom, a self‑service laundry, and good prices at the rooftop bar; the only downside was that the two beds were separate instead of one big one, as they were not linked at all and lay next to each other.
