The room was comfortable in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood of Atami. The Japanese homemade dinner and breakfast were fantastic. The private onsen settings were great. The hotel staff were professional and very welcoming. It’s excellent value for money. The only downside might be the lack of hot‑drink amenities in the room.

The food was good, the room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were very helpful. The bathroom toilet was a bit cramped.

The innkeeper and even the young owner were helpful with sightseeing tips, and the whole staff behaved calmly and warmly; because I booked at the last minute only one room remained and the better‑located one was already taken, but the dishes were presented creatively and tasted great. My only issues were that the pillow was a bit too high for me and the simmered gilt‑sea bream was slightly tough.

The room’s atmosphere was nice and the private open‑air bath was wonderful, the food was so good it even made me enjoy dishes I usually dislike, and the warm welcome from the young owner and all the staff made the experience especially pleasant.
