The hotel is 3 miles from the M4 motorway and 4 miles from Newport. The room was quite nice, but it started to feel a bit tired. The restaurant was not good and the service was very slow even though it was almost empty. There was little on the menu, and half of what was listed wasn’t available. I ordered a fillet steak, but 20 minutes later they said it was unavailable, so I got a sirloin steak that wasn’t good.

The location was nice and quiet, the rooms were comfortable, and the spa facilities were good. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.
