“Our favourite hotel of this trip”
We loved this hotel more than any of the 13 we stayed at on the trip. It’s easy to locate and offers plenty of free parking. The host is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. The rooms are spacious, spotless, comfy, and very quiet. The building is stunning, and the underground passage to the restaurant is filled with impressive antiques and collections. Dining there is superb and offers excellent value. The guinea fowl, cooked over an open fire, is a must‑try, especially with a glass or two of the host’s own Chianti.
