The room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was very nice. The location was great. We will definitely stay again.

The spot sits in Ambleside’s center, just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and a lovely waterfall. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, and the hosts were very attentive. We had a slow‑draining shower, but it was fixed the same day. If you’re an American used to AC, the upper‑floor room felt a bit stuffy. We used a fan and opened a window, but I’m not sure we’d have been comfortable in July or August; we were there in mid‑September. It felt a bit more touristy than expected for September. The description mentioned a “mountain view”; from our room we could see a sliver of mountain peeking over the rooftops.

“Faultless”

Everything is spotless and the breakfast was amazing. The location is right in Ambleside’s heart, and the secure parking area just a couple of minutes’ walk away was great. I would definitely book this place again next time I visit Ambleside.

“Amazing stay! Very well reccomended.”

The spot was spot on, just a stone's throw from Ambleside town centre and the trekking trails, and the building itself was spotless and welcoming, with staff who were genuinely easygoing and kind. Our room was roomy, immaculate, and had every comfort we could ask for. It was a flawless experience, and I’d gladly come back if I ever find myself in that part of England again.
