The location was perfect for cyclists on the Altmühltalradweg. The terrace, however, felt bland; its layout could have been more inviting and it would have benefited from some flowers.

The hotel is centrally located. A square with a fountain, benches, and a table in front of the hotel offers a nice place to stay. Nearby is a large adventure playground and a few minutes’ walk to the old town with many shops, good restaurants, and a gelato shop with tasty ice cream. Our room had no balcony, which was important to us, but the hotel couldn’t help that—we just didn’t notice it when booking. The breakfast was good in quality but not very extensive. For the price we expected a self‑serve coffee machine and perhaps a station where fried eggs and similar items were freshly prepared.

Very dog‑friendly. Extra bowls and a dog blanket were provided on the sofa. The pool was great.
