The real charm of Dadhikar wasn't just the fort itself; it was the sense of stepping out of the city and spending a peaceful night with my family in the Aravallis, enjoying good Rajasthani food, historic surroundings, warm hospitality, and nature everywhere. That mix probably made a single night feel like an adventure instead of a plain hotel stay. To make it even better, I’d like to see a wider food selection, more activities—especially for kids—and more consistent room upkeep. A regular cultural program or heritage activity in the evening would truly complete the fort experience.

“Great staff great location but needs maintenance in the older wing of the property”

The heritage rooms, the location, and the rustic vibe were the main draws. The rooms need upkeep, especially the older ones. One room had water leaking, and in the other we moved into, a fat rat slipped in at night through a big hole it had made in the window.

The views were fantastic both in the morning and at night, the castle‑like complex felt like a maze that was fun to wander, and the paintings in the room caught my interest, but the door wouldn’t latch properly and needs fixing, and although demand is low, I’d like to see a few more non‑vegetarian dishes on the menu.

“Beautiful property, amazing food, and helpful staff”

The staff was super helpful all the time. The property manager, Vishnu, was always on hand and ready to help with anything we needed. The food was amazing, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
