The location was good for us, the internet and AC were fine, and there were cheap warungs nearby. It was very dirty (the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all), smelled like cigarettes, and the neighboring church played very loud music at 5 am that could still be heard even with earplugs. Nobody was around on site and no one spoke English. The toilet was in the middle of the bathroom with the shower directly above it, and there was no sink.

Overall a good value. The church across the street blasted music from 4 am‑8 am and again from 2 pm‑6 pm; it wasn’t the hostel’s fault but made it impossible to sleep in the morning, even with ear plugs it was still loud. I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing.

I could walk to everything I needed: bank, cinema, harbor, bus stop, food. The bed is large and very comfortable.
