We’re country folks, so staying beside the lake was refreshing, though the stay felt too short; the BBQ was perfect, the fire pit soothing, and watching the ducks in the morning was a highlight, and we loved everything. Nothing really went wrong, only that they were closing for the season, but they were very kind in letting us borrow items from the main lodge for cooking.

The location right on the lake is great, but the place is noisy because of people above us, and the shower has a weak flow.

This retreat is an amazing place, there's an island in the middle of the lake. You can swim to in ten seconds. The view is absolutely stunning. You have everything you need. And if you don't, it's a short drive to Wawa

The rooms were great, and I liked the screened-in porch with a view of the lake, but the pillows could have been better, though it wasn't a big issue.
