“Most disappointing stay I’ve EVER had.”
Location. Well designed. Good room. Starting with 10 points and reducing them for follows - instant geyser with a bathtub - MINUS 2 (should deduct more but I’ll be conservative) . Couldn’t use the tub at all coz of cold water. - room advertised as SOUNDPROOF. It is not. In fact it is so bad that you can hear the dogs on the road, the neighbours music and random conversations from everywhere. MINUS 1 - For a beautifully designed room and bathroom - they had MEDIMIX soap, a bucket that looked like it was stolen from a SULABH SAUCHALAYA, no place to keep toiletries , no toothbrush, and the faucet handle came off. MINUS 2 - On my last day, there was no water for an hour. When I called to enquire , they said “Water comes from outside. We don’t control that”. Yep. MINUS 1. - the SERVICE. It honestly felt like they were trying to annoy me, or I was being pranked. At the reception, there were several mosquitoes, I asked the guy to light an incense stick or something. He said “This is outdoor. “ wow. I’ve never been outdoor in Goa . I was eating in their restaurant in the afternoon and they just left me there for 15-20 mins. I couldn’t even find them to order something. And even waited for the bill. When i asked one of the cleaners where the waiters were , he said “Well they all eat lunch at this time”. Me, a paying customer; waiting for the staff to finish their lunch. When I asked “the manager” about how to fill hot water in the tub, he instructed one of the boys to show me how the geyser works. When I told him an instant geyser wouldn’t fill a bathtub with hot water, he said “No one said anything in 5 years. They used regular water” and dismissed me . Honestly this property was the MOST disappointing stay I’ve had. The properly is “PRIVE” and my room was a “FABULOUS” room by name, but those two words were light years away from my experience. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL
