The location was ideal for my needs, but there is no lift and the stairs are very steep.

Breakfast was very nice with an excellent menu selection, though I missed the cereal and Danish pastries; cleanliness was lacking in detail, and the décor around the premises felt tired.

The staff and atmosphere were great, the room was clean and spacious, the food was amazing, and there was plenty of free parking; you can hear a lot through the walls and ceiling, Wi‑Fi was hit‑and‑miss, and the TV needs re‑tuning.

My experience at Miller & Carter was very disappointing, mainly due to the poor treatment I received from the staff and management. The way the situation was handled was unacceptable and left me feeling very dissatisfied with the service. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the attitude and behaviour of the staff and management, and I would expect much better customer service from an establishment of this standard.,,,I am absolutely shocked by my experience. The duty manager entered my room while I was sleeping and slammed the door on his way out. When I questioned him about this, his response was extremely rude and unacceptable. I felt completely disrespected and deeply concerned about my privacy and safety. The behaviour of someone in a management position was appalling, and the way the situation was handled has seriously undermined my confidence in staying here. I would strongly urge management to investigate this incident and ensure that no other guest has to experience the same treatment. food
