The place sits right in the old town by the river, which is great. The music in the new dining area at breakfast was too loud, only the bass could be heard, and something a bit calmer would have been better first thing in the morning.

The room was big and the spot was perfect, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Even though the hotel was in the middle of renovations, it didn’t cause any trouble. However, a few staff members seemed rushed during breakfast.

The location is excellent and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant’s food was surprisingly good for a hotel. I only wish we had stayed a week later to see the new restaurant open; it looked amazing.

The rooms are modern, and I received an upgrade and breakfast as a gesture of customer‑service recovery because of the noisy renovations happening. The noise in the hotel was a problem, and the area is a bit out of town, so I didn’t feel safe walking around.
