The hotel sits beside the convention center, but the staff were uninterested, unskilled, and rude—when I asked for an omelette with green chilies they said “No, you don’t need that, it’s too spicy,” and my race had nothing to do with it. A cockroach appeared in my bathroom, the sheets had blood stains, the AC smelled like old wet socks (probably not cleaned in ages), which made me sick with nose and throat irritation. The Google rating of 4.8 didn’t match reality; furniture was worn, curtains dirty, and the food mediocre.
