The property is very well maintained and sits very close to Ella city centre and cafés. It’s a bit hard to reach, requiring walking and climbing steps, so it’s not ideal if you dislike a bit of walking. I appreciated the extra adventure, though.

“Beautiful stay at Ella alpine resort”

We had a wonderful stay at Ella Alpine Resort. Lalith and the team were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. He was incredibly accommodating and even arranged trusted transport to our next destination, making our travel plans stress‑free. Breakfast was fantastic, offering both Western and traditional Sri Lankan options, all freshly prepared and delicious. The resort is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, and it’s just a short walk along the train tracks into Ella town, making it both scenic and convenient. Highly recommend Ella Alpine Resort to anyone visiting Ella!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ella Alpine Resort. The owners are attentive, helpful, and absolutely wonderful. They made our stay easy and comfortable by arranging transport wherever we needed to go. Breakfast was incredible and highly recommend; we wish there were more meals available. My partner fell ill during our stay, and they were so helpful in arranging transport to the medical clinic and checking in on us to ensure everything was okay. Truly gems.
