Location. Atmosphere. Our room lacked natural light (interior patio) and it was a little hot despite the air conditioner.

The decor of the place was definitely impressive. The breakfast buffet was a disaster; it wasn’t that there was no bread to choose from, it was that there was only one slice per person, the ham was very ordinary, and I’d recommend eating outside on the square instead.

Pet friendly and looked historic. The room we had was off Main Street and was super noisy, and the food service didn’t live up to the hotel’s name. Not sure why “gastronomic” is in the name.

We really liked the accommodation. The only downside was that the pool wasn’t open on the hot day we arrived. But that’s minor; it was a great weekend for us as a couple.
