LaRiSa Resort, Morjim

I booked this stay after seeing gorgeous photos online and on Instagram, but the reality was completely different. The property looked much smaller than expected, and the entrance was nowhere near as impressive as the pictures showed. The room I was first offered had no view—no pool view, no beach view, nothing. It felt nothing like what had been advertised. The gap between the online images and the actual experience was so huge that I decided to cancel. It was very disappointing, and I hope the photos are updated so future guests know what to expect.

“Very poor . Spoiled my day which was special to celebrate”

Parking , cleanliness and good staff . It’s too basic . No tv no fridge no chair or table inside the room . No place to walk around . It’s called beach side property but one has to cross the road and cross their second property with cottages and go beach . No facility to serve on beach . Resturant is on 2 nd floor without lift . No airtel or Vodaphone connection and Internet hardly working . Overall bad experience. Only thing good was their staff and ok food

Nothing at all good, just a bunch of scams.

“Poor. The location is a scam unless you take the beach cottages.”

The décor looked nice and the staff were friendly, but it wasn’t worth the 9,000 I paid for one night. The rooms felt like a lodge in Calangute or Baga, with sand on the floor, a dingy and stinking bathroom, and the “beach” location was actually across the beach. Parking was terrible, and it doesn’t even match a 4‑star rating—more like an Airbnb. I wouldn’t recommend it.
