“Nice hotel, good breakfast, good location.”
Very close to the train station, making it easy to use as a way to get to other towns. The light on the building across the street turned on at odd hours of the night, randomly illuminating our room; it could be fixed by talking to the owner of the sign.
“Charming hotel with great staff”
The manager on duty was outstanding! She made a special effort to make our return to the train station very easy—on a day when the streets were blocked because of the festival. I wish all managers had her “how can I help you?” attitude. She made our stay a joy

The location is good, the attached café is cozy, the furnishings there are very appealing, the breakfast is top. We stayed in the neighboring building’s apartment, which had been renovated. The old wood and tiles were painted white, so everything looks good at first glance. On a second look it’s less nice; the shower is old and looks awful, the shower hose was completely broken, so water sprayed everywhere (see picture), the video with the clogged hose can’t be uploaded. We’re talking about a holiday apartment for 450 Euro per night!

The bed was very comfortable, and the feather pillow was a particular treat. The welcome drink was an unexpected and generous gesture while we waited to check in. The view from the hotel was also splendid. Unfortunately, the terrace did not reflect the cleanliness and care of the hotel’s interior. When we arrived, a bag containing empty bottles and leaking food had been left on the table by the previous guests. The tables and chairs were in disarray, and there were cigarette butts on the ground. After I informed reception, a staff member came promptly to remove the bag and clean the table, which I appreciated, although the remaining area was left unattended. The coffee machine was not working when we arrived, and the kettle could also benefit from being replaced. I also accidentally left a nightdress in the bathroom. When I contacted the hotel, I was told that nothing had been found and was advised to check again among my belongings. As I had travelled directly home and knew where I had left it, I found the response rather dismissive and would have appreciated a more helpful follow-up
