A truly welcoming spot in northern Koh Samui, right on Mae Nam beach, and close enough to Pralam pier to catch a lovely view of nearby Koh Phangan. The staff were very friendly and the overall vibe was pleasant.
We felt very comfortable in a warm, family‑like atmosphere with attentive service everywhere. Whatever you order at the restaurant tastes great, and the value for money is outstanding. You can also rent scooters, swap books, play table tennis, book taxis and ferry tickets, and there’s a beachfront massage hut right outside the resort. The older bungalows are a bit lower in standard than the newer ones.

The location is undoubtedly the best part, with the beach practically private for hotel guests, which makes the place worthwhile. However, the room needs a refresh; the bed isn’t very comfortable and after four nights my back hurt, the bathroom lacks even a simple shelf for belongings, and the air‑conditioning works poorly. For a longer stay the room feels small, especially regarding storage and organization, though the tiny terrace was a nice touch for evenings when you don’t want to go down to the beach. The breakfast could be better; you can’t order anything outside the buffet (once I asked for a tortilla when fried eggs were served and was told no). In our 15 days in Thailand, this was the first hotel that refused a simple special breakfast request, and it isn’t the cheapest option either.
