Riad Casa Luafi

We had a lovely stay at Riad Casa Luafi ❤️ The riad was clean, peaceful, comfortable, and very relaxing; we enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the warm welcome, and everything was perfect for a chill getaway. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return! 😊

“Maravillosa , repetiré”

The staff were very friendly, the house and rooms were beautiful and spotless. I couldn't think of any negatives.

There was no staff to properly manage the riad, no one at reception even at night, despite the riad being full of other guests, which made us feel unsafe. The toilets were dirty and nobody replaced the toilet paper when it ran out. What was especially uncomfortable was that the manager seemed to monitor the riad through cameras and sent us messages with orders such as turning off lights and closing doors. I even got a WhatsApp complaint that the lights had been left on all night, which made us feel constantly watched, almost as if we were being surveilled instead of simply staying as guests. The host also asked us to lock the terrace door at night “for our safety.” Our room window was on the same level as the terrace and had to stay open because it was extremely hot 🥵. With no staff or reception available, this made us feel even less reassured. There were also several fights and altercations on the street, both early in the morning and at night, which added to the feeling of insecurity. Overall, the lack of staff, cleanliness, privacy, constant monitoring and the responsibilities placed on guests made the stay very disappointing.
