Number 19 Guesthouse sits in Dalton‑in‑Furness, just 1.1 mi (2 min drive) from South Lakes Safari Zoo and 10 min from Barrow‑in‑Furness town centre. Ulverston, home of the Laurel and Hardy Museum, is an 8‑minute drive away; Lake Windermere and Bowness lie 34 min distant. Each of the five rooms offers a private bathroom, flat‑screen TV, tea/coffee facilities, free Wi‑Fi and parking. Nearby pubs, eateries and shops enhance the stay.

The room felt cozy and welcoming, with an iron and a hair dryer plus a small courtesy tray, and it was spotlessly clean.

Check‑in was smooth, and we were informed early that our room was ready; the facilities are solid and the location is central. Nothing to complain about—would book again without hesitation.

The place was very clean and tidy, the beds were comfy and easy to reach, and parking is right outside. The only downside was the fan barely worked and it got a bit warm.

Sophie greeted us on arrival, and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Getting a taxi was a hassle, with a long wait, so next time I’ll book one in advance.
