The reception, staff, and hotel itself were excellent, and there was nothing to complain about.

The interior design was gorgeous and the location was perfect, though the terrace overlooked the swimming pool, so it wasn’t private.
The location, the historic building, and the pool were great, but I would have liked a bit more bathroom convenience (hooks, more soap, etc.).
Everything was flawless, from the breakfast to the late‑night armagnac; the pool, parking, room, and staff were all outstanding. We had waited 20 years to stay here, and it was worth the wait.
