Metro Vilar Suites & Villas sits in Vilar do Pinheiro, just 100 m from the metro station linking Porto, Matosinhos, Póvoa de Varzim, and the airport. The resort offers heated outdoor pool, garden, sun terrace, children’s playground, free Wi‑Fi, TV, and a shared kitchen. Private parking is available, and the site lies on the historic Camino de Santiago.

Near the airport and therefore quickly reachable. We had a late check‑in and everything was excellently prepared and communicated, but the place is very noisy – even after 24 o’clock, other guests were loud in the hallway.

The location was perfect if you need to head to Porto airport early; it’s also on the metro line so you can get to Porto easily. The room was small but practical, and we had a neighbouring room for four at a fair price. There was a small communal kitchen in the courtyard where you could make tea or coffee. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked clean. The air traffic is loud, though there were a few hours at night when the flights paused.

Good location relative to Porto airport, but the price‑quality ratio is not great.

The room was comfy an the facilities were great. Swimming pool was a great bonus after our first day on the Camino. Would come back here again
